My name is Eloise Gosdin Bargatze. I graduated from SHS in June of 1950. My mother Lillie Mae Gosdin worked in the cafeteria at SHS. After SHS I went to Northwestern State College in Natchitoches and graduated in nursing in 1953. I married in Aug 1954 and moved to Murfreesboro, TN where I worked and retired from the Alvin York VA hospital in 1987. I played baketball at SHS in 1948-1949 and 1949-1950. This was the first girls basketball team at SHS. It was some of the most enjoyable days of my life attending SHS and playing basketball.
