2005 Simsboro Alumni Scholarship recipients—Heather Rushing, Will Rockett, Christina Sherman, and Ashley Williams — are all doing well in college.

Christina is enrolled in the University of Louisiana at Monroe; Heather, Will, and Ashley are enrolled in Louisiana Tech University. Marion Gregory Scholarship recipients, Emmy Jennings and Jessica Murphy, are also freshmen at Louisiana Tech University and doing well.
