Simsboro High School is located on Tiger Drive, Simsboro, Louisiana and is the oldest school in Lincoln Parish. As of 2004, SHS has had a century of graduates.

Many years ago my high school English teacher, Mrs. Fowler, impressed upon our eager young minds a thought. She repeatedly told us to seek diligently for the perfect adjective when we were describing a topic that that we felt passionately about.
I have heeded this instruction, and yet I still can not find the perfect words to describe my first six weeks as the administrator at Simsboro School. I am overwhelmed at the community support and involvement. Without this community family, the first impression of this great school would not be as it is. Your overwhelming support is the basis of the "first impression" one has when he sees this school. No one can argue that Simsboro is not the most beautiful campus in Lincoln Parish. A new road, new classrooms, new parking lots, and new furniture, are just a few of the tangible things that Simsboro proudly displays. These are things that are visible to the outside world.
More importantly is the level of instruction that is happening behind those doors. As the educational leader of this school, I expect the best from my teachers and my students. Our first assignment as Simsboro faculty was to take our data and look at our strengths and weaknesses and determine what each of us could do to make student achievement improvements. We build on those strengths and recognized that each of us has a responsibility to overcome those weaknesses. As you visit the classrooms you will observe educational strategies being used throughout the various contents. We are all working together for the students. My motto has always been "Don't let good get in the way of Great". Of course the students seem to think it is "Tiger Pride -here to stay". Either way-we will all be better for our days at # 1 Tiger Drive. Thank you for the opportunity to call this place home.
